About
My Research Lab is made by Ioan Gelu Ionas, MBA, PhD.
I am curious about what happens when mind meets technology. Trained as an engineer, I went on to study business and how people learn, and my work has followed all three, as a scholar, a software developer, a teacher, and an advisor. I explore research design and methods, and I build web applications for research and learning.
I teach applied statistics and educational and psychological measurement to graduate students at the University of Missouri, and I advise doctoral students on their dissertations at Walden University. My research looks at how people reason about causes, and at measuring audience responses in real time over the web.
This site brings that work together: a book on quantitative research, Quantitative Research by Example, free tools for choosing a statistical test and planning a sample, and, for members, guided help with designing a study.
My projects, teaching, research, and publications are on my portfolio site, not-not.net.
